You should really …
You should really get back to school! The thing is, you now KNOW that nothing you experience can harm you and you should be comfortable enough to be in school. The diversion of school will also help you enormously. GO FOR IT! I am proud of you. Charles

It is sometimes …
It is sometimes difficult to differentiate between anxiety sensations and side effects of medications; I have experienced this dilema first hand. What I can say is that regardless of their cause, these symptoms are harmless and you should focus on a practical programme of anxiety elimination instead of always focusing on how you feel. I know it’s hard, I have been there too. Charles

This is a very …
This is a very common ‘what if’ thought process in anxiety disorder. If you eliminate your inappropriate anxiety, you won’t focus on these ‘fear of consequences’ thoughts. Charles

People of any age …
People of any age can experience high anxiety… it isn’t just an adult ‘thing’. We all react to stress differently and we are all genetically different. Charles

Very normal. Many people experience night time and sleep anxiety and panic attacks. You MUST take care of your diet though Jules, much night time (and daytime) anxiety can be made worse by poor nutrition and fluctuating blood sugar levels!!

Your baseline levels of anxiety must be ellevated prior to reading in order for them to rise dramatically when you read. You need to address the core anxiety and it will make public reading much easier. Charles

Roro,
You have had a panic attack, probably due to the stress in your life and mixing drugs with a bad or in-opportune time. I would suggest maybe buying a book on the subject or seeing a doctor about panic attacks instead of ear infections. Anxiety is the most over-looked problem in medicine today, they still try to tell people it is an ear infection or a bladder infection when all it is is an over-stressed person trying to deal with life. There are some really good products available online also that you may want to look in to.
I wish you the best.

It’s true. So many people out there become agoraphobic do to the fear that an attack will strike at any given time.
I think the key is knowing the strategies and tactics to combat the attacks on the spot. That alone will give a person the confidence that should a panic attack strike, they’ll be ready.
Personally, I used to suffer from nocturnal attacks quite often. I found that drinking sleepytime tea with valerian root before bed helped a lot. There’s also a really awesome article on how to stop nocturnal panic attacks here: http://www.stop-anxiety-panic-attack.com/lp/stop-nocturnal-panic-attacks.html
Best of luck to all those out there suffering from this debilitating problem.
